Menstruating – so no sex for four days…

There was a big bang on our living room window and a Robin fell on the flower bed stone cold dead. I hope its not the robin who follows us around the garden. He was so lovely and tame…

I guess someone’s not a fan of riding the red tide eh? That’s too bad 😦

You’re right I’m afraid. I was about 5 months pregnant with my first baby and having sex with my husband. He noticed some blood and withdrew his penis to reveal alot of blood. We both naively thought we’d damaged (or worse!) our unborn child. The feelings of fear and guilt were mortifying. I never want to see blood on a dick again. ;(

Oh I see, then I can definitely understand the post-dramatic feeling given those circumstances. Nevertheless, a great orgasm can make the best of period-blues and cramps go away, so even if there’s no sex, hopefully both of you will “take care of yourself” 😆 But as they say, you’re not a real man until you have blood on your sword, haha.

I’m very lucky in that I don’t suffer during menstruation at all (apart from not having sex!) But you’re right a great orgasm can make all the difference – especially where cramps are concerned – A good friend has just started having sex on the first day of coming on and will never need to use pain killers on a regular basis again.

River can be a bit squeamish but I just call it “a different kind of slippery” and consider any resulting “water line” to be a badge of honor. 🙂

‘A badge of honor’ What a lovely positive way of looking at it!
